The Build Process - Title
Each cycle rack is built using the latest technologies in our own workshops. Each cycle rack incorporates several 'unique' build features including the application of zinc plating and Gold Passivated finishing and neoprene cover is applied to the rack to ensure it is hardwearing and protects the paint finish to your cycle.
The build process.
Aiston Cycle Racks

Each cycle rack we build incorporates the following processes:

  • High quality British steel
  • Machine mitred corners for added strength
  • High penetration MIG welding
  • Zinc plating to frames
  • Gold passivated finish
  • Neoprene cover to frame (only on crossbar support rack)
  • Each bike rack is designed to fit onto a standard tow bar and, when the bikes are loaded onto the racks, they are not in contact with the vehicle.

The build process itself is subject to constant review and, where appropriate, design changes made. This ensures that all of our bike racks will exceed the minimum build and safety requirements that our clients and we expect.

Note: we always advise our customers to fit a separate lighting board when towing cycles.
